Why we are building tools for four trades

PondTools was meant to be one program for one trade. Then pond contractors started telling us about the other work they bid on: the roof they were subbing on, the pool builder down the road, the solar installer who kept winning jobs because his quotes came back first.

The same problem in every trade

The contractor measures the property, drives home, does a takeoff, builds a quote, and sends it a week later with a brochure photo of somebody else's house. By then the customer has two other quotes and has forgotten which one was yours.

The same fix

Each of our tools works the same way. You measure from the property, the software sizes the materials from those measurements and prices every line, and the customer sees the finished job on their own house. PondTools does this today. SolarTools, RoofTools and PoolTools are in early access with small groups of contractors.
