Window covering software that prices every window from a photo
Mark one window you've measured on a photo of the room, draw the others, and pick a shade, blind, shutter or drapery for each. WindowTools prices every window and the whole job, and the proposal lands in JobTools.

Measure one window, size the rest from the photo
Take a photo of the room, or start from the sample room. Drag over the glass of one window and type the size from your tape measure. Every other window you draw on that wall is sized from the photo, and a window on another wall can be typed in by hand.
The size measured from the photo sits beside a box for the tape measure size you will order from, so the quote can go out on the first visit and the final measure happens before the order. The free blind and shade size calculator works out the order size for an inside or outside mount from three widths and three heights.
Pick a covering for each window
Each window gets its own product, line, fabric and color, then light control, mount and control. Switch a window between lines and brands and the customer sees what each one costs at that size, while you are still in the room.
WindowTools carries 54 lines from seven brands: Hunter Douglas, Levolor, Bali, Graber, Norman, 3 Day Blinds and Blinds.com, with their fabrics, color names, light control, mounts, controls, motors and size limits from the brands' public pages. Motors include Hunter Douglas PowerView Gen 3, Lutron Serena and Sivoia QS and Somfy Sonesse.

The price of every window
The estimate lists each window with its line, size and fabric, then the installation and the job total. Each window is priced from its line's width and height bands and its fabric's price group. For now those prices are samples, so you can see how a quote comes together before your own price lists are in.
Imagine draws a photoreal picture of the customer's room with the new coverings in it.
Send the proposal, then run the install
Publish a proposal your customer opens on their phone, with a drawing of each window, the covering on it and its price. The same proposal lands in JobTools as a draft for the same customer, one line for each window. Add your options there and send it. Signing makes the job and the deposit invoice, and you pick the install date.
When the product arrives, put the install on the schedule. Your installer sees the visit on their phone with the checklist, takes before and after photos and clocks in and out.

Who uses it
Installers measure one window, photograph the room and walk out with every window priced, then type the tape measure sizes before they order. Dealers switch a window between lines and brands to show the customer what each costs at that size. Designers try fabrics and colors on the client's own room. In a shop with a few people, each person signs in with their own login and your Pro covers their seat.
Getting paid
Send deposit, progress and final invoices from the job. Customers pay by card or by bank transfer (ACH), straight into your own Stripe account, and you record checks and cash as they come in. JobTools keeps track of what is still owed and sends your customers, items, invoices and payments to QuickBooks Online, so the books stay current without typing anything twice.
Proposals that are not signed after a few days get a reminder email, and so do invoices as they come due. Each customer has their own page with their visits, invoices and jobs.

Questions
- Is WindowTools free?
- Yes, at window.toolsforbuilders.com, with nothing to install, and you can try the sample room without signing in.
- Are the prices real?
- Not yet. Every price is a sample so you can see how a quote comes together. Product names, colors and size limits come from the brands' public pages.
- Does it measure the window for me?
- It measures from the photo once you have marked one window you measured. That is close enough to quote from, and you type the tape measure size before ordering.
- Which brands are in it?
- 54 lines from Hunter Douglas, Levolor, Bali, Graber, Norman, 3 Day Blinds and Blinds.com, covering cellular, roller, Roman and woven shades, wood, faux wood, mini and vertical blinds, shutters and drapery.
- Is it made by Hunter Douglas or the other brands?
- No. WindowTools isn't affiliated with any of them, their names belong to them, and the color swatches are our own drawings.
