Tools for Builders in Claude and ChatGPT, and designs that follow you
Accounts and plans
Add the connector to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, even before you have an account, and ask it what you are owed, draft a proposal from your price book, move a visit or edit your website. It asks before anything is sent or published.
After the free month, the free plan keeps your website, clients, leads and 3 customer proposals a month, with signing and deposits.
JobTools
In Settings, Claude rules, choose which actions Claude may do on its own, such as emailing a proposal under a dollar limit, and switch Claude off for any person on your team.
Archive and restore clients, leads, jobs, proposals and invoices, delete what has no money on it, and give a client a company name for commercial work, property managers and HOAs.
Design tools
Designs are saved to your account or your business and open on every device you sign in on.
Open a design tool from a JobTools job and it starts with the job's client and photos, and Edit design on a proposal opens the exact design it came from.
Payments in JobTools, and recurring invoices
JobTools
Clients can pay an invoice by card or by bank transfer (ACH), add a tip if you turn tips on, and save the card or bank account for next time, with the money going to your own Stripe account. How JobTools invoicing works
Autopay charges a client's saved payment method when an invoice is due, and a recurring job sends its own invoice on the schedule you set.
Save any proposal as a template to start the next one from, and take a discount off a whole proposal, a single line or an invoice.
Every email JobTools sends your clients can be reworded in Settings, Messages, and your crew can send an On my way email with their arrival time.
LawnTools
The LawnTools estimate prices every area you draw, with the edging and mowing time worked out from the plan.
Crew permissions, crew proposals and proposal terms
JobTools
Ten switches set what your crew can do in JobTools, and you can change them for one person on the Team page.
A crew member can design a job in any design tool and publish the proposal on the business's Pro plan, then see and send their own proposals from the field app.
Every proposal carries your standard terms, plus a product terms page built from the disclaimers in your price book.
LawnTools
Plant a whole bed with real plants in one step, set the spacing, and draw areas or place plants from the top-down view as well as on the photo.
Prices come from a landscaping price book that each business can change in JobTools, with tax, so the guide, the Estimate pane and the proposal show the same total.
Design tools
Imagine takes your own prompt or edits a picture it has made, in every design tool, and draws the plants you placed as real plants.
Pro per person, and team invites
Accounts and plans
Tools for Builders Pro is $50 a month for each person on your team, owner, office and crew alike, and each person brings 100 AI credits a month.
JobTools
Invite your team from Settings, Team with a link that works with any email or an account they already have, and you see the new monthly price before you send it.
One person can work for more than one business and switch between them.
A free one-page website, and help with your domain
WebTools
Every account can publish a one-page website with photos and a quote form for free, and requests from it go to your email and straight into JobTools.
Ask in WebTools or JobTools and the assistant walks you through buying a domain or pointing the one you have at your site, then checks it worked.
JobTools
DataTools shows the numbers behind your sales: leads, proposals, win rate, sold work and what's in the pipeline, for you, each salesperson and each crew, with a CSV download.
The price book takes your own columns and imports a pasted list or a CSV file.
Drop photos and files on the assistant's chat, and ask it to change a draft proposal or add items to your price book.
Tools for Builders Pro, and an assistant in JobTools
Accounts and plans
JobTools, WebTools, customer proposals and AI credits come together in one plan, Tools for Builders Pro, and every new account gets the first month free.
JobTools
Press Ask on any page to find out how to do something, or have the assistant look things up and draft leads, clients, notes and proposals. It changes nothing until you confirm.
You get an alert the moment a client opens a proposal, and again when they come back to it, with one tap to call them.
CompanyCam works both ways: job photos and notes come into JobTools, crew photos go back to CompanyCam, and a project started in CompanyCam shows up as a lead.
Design tools
Start a design with your phone or tablet camera, and talk instead of typing in the assistant.
LawnTools
Trace a yard and see it finished without measuring first. Prices appear as soon as you add a measurement.
Leads, QuickBooks and imports in JobTools
JobTools
A leads board follows each job from the first call to the signed proposal, with site visit notes, photos and voice recordings on the lead.
JobTools sends your customers, items, invoices and payments to QuickBooks Online once you connect it in Settings.
Bring your customers with you: import clients, contacts, leads, history and files from a spreadsheet, a Jobber export, a Salesforce export or your CompanyCam projects.
Proposals and invoices download as PDFs, clients can have several properties and contacts, and the schedule has day and crew views.
Design my yard in LawnTools, in 3D
LawnTools
Design my yard takes you from a photo of the yard to a plan, a price and a proposal, with the new lawn and beds shown in 3D on the photo. See LawnTools
Yard Studio shows the whole yard in 3D, and the Plants and objects pane adds trees, shrubs, planters, fountains, walls and furniture to the plan.
Create an asset: describe an object, add a photo if you have one, and it is built as a 3D model you can place in Studio.
WebTools
The Look panel sets your website's colours, fonts and button corners in one place.
WindowTools and ClosetTools
WindowTools
WindowTools traces the windows on a photo of a room, prices blinds, shades and shutters from real product lines, and makes a proposal. There's a free blind size calculator too.
ClosetTools
ClosetTools lays out a closet wall by wall from real closet systems, shows it in 3D and prices the parts list. The closet layout calculator is free.
JobTools
A proposal published in any design tool arrives in JobTools as a draft, with the lines, prices, pictures and client filled in.
JobTools has a REST API with your own keys, signed webhooks, and a Claude connector.
RoofTools
Price a roof as good, better and best packages from your own price book, and send the Fast Report to the client.
WebTools
Drafts stay private until you publish, and Publish checks each page for search problems first.
Find a Pro, client pages and Talk
Find a Pro
Homeowners can ask for a local pro from any design tool or calculator, with their design attached. Find a pro
JobTools
Each client gets a page of their own with their visits, invoices and jobs, and every page and email they see carries your business's name and logo.
Add visits and other time straight from the schedule, make an invoice without a job, and take bookings from Calendly.
LawnTools
Find an area in the photo with a tap, ask the assistant to lay out lawn, beds and patios, and Imagine the finished yard.
Talk
Talk is a forum for builders, and you post with your Tools for Builders account.
Accounts and plans
New accounts start with 100 free AI credits.
JobTools, WebTools and one account for every tool
JobTools
JobTools keeps your clients and price book, and sends proposals with good, better and best options that customers sign on their phone, deposit included.
A signed proposal becomes a job, with visits on the crew schedule, a field app that keeps working without signal, invoices and job costing.
Clients pay by card straight into your own Stripe account, and online booking, appointment reminders, follow-ups and review requests go out on their own.
The AI receptionist answers your business phone, offers times you're free, books estimate visits and writes up every call.
WebTools
Answer four questions to get a website, change it by typing what you want in plain words, and publish when it's ready. Messages from its contact form come to your email.
Accounts and plans
One Tools for Builders account signs you in to every tool, and your business details, hours, logo and colours are set once for all of them.
RoofTools and LawnTools
RoofTools
RoofTools measures a roof from public LiDAR data: type the address, confirm the house, and the Fast Report gives the squares, pitch and every plane. How LiDAR roof measurement works
Lay out solar panels on the roof over a sun heatmap, see the yearly production, and send a proposal with savings and payback charts.
Edit the roof planes in 3D with the sun at any time of day or year, and get gutters, downspouts, elbows and hangers in the report.
LawnTools
LawnTools measures lawns, beds, gravel and patios on a photo of the yard and prices the job.
Small tools to fill and sign a PDF, combine and split PDFs, turn photos into a PDF, and work out markup and margin or concrete, gravel and mulch.
PoolTools, pool design software of its own
PoolTools
PoolTools draws the pool, sets its depth profile, and works out the gallons, the excavation and the pump size.
Pool Studio builds the pool in 3D with coping, interior finishes and water colours, and Imagine renders it into the customer's yard.
The assistant designs pools, and pool proposals show the depth profile, excavation and circulation.

Imagine, and proposals your client opens on the web
PondTools
Imagine turns a design into a photo-real picture in one click, or builds the pond into the customer's own yard photo, and a saved picture can become a short drone-style video.
Publish a design as a proposal the client opens on the web, prints or saves as a PDF, with your logo on it, and they can send you a message from it.
Draw just the rim of a new pond and PondTools builds the ledge and floor, sized to the gallons you want.
Estimate a lake bed from LiDAR inside the waterline traced on a satellite photo.
Ground from LiDAR, and water traced from the photo
PondTools
Import the shape of the ground from USGS LiDAR for the property, so the slopes show in the plan and in Studio.
Load a photo or a satellite view and PondTools finds the water and traces its outline for you.
Ten pond care calculators sit in the workspace, filled in from the pond you drew.
Projects keeps each customer with their designs, and a project exports to a file.
Ask PondTools to design the pond with you
PondTools
Describe the pond you want, or upload a picture of one you like, and the assistant draws a design you can preview, apply or undo.
Shape the pond and the ground around it with contour lines, which set both the volume and the 3D model.
Plan the whole yard around the pond
PondTools
Lay out the whole site, with the house, patio, deck, fences, walls, paths, planted beds and footbridges, and see live dimensions and clearances as you go.
Start from an editable starter yard, and save a group of objects to reuse in the next design.
Set the water's colour, clarity and ripples, and walk through Studio with the keyboard.
A short guided tour draws your first pond with you, step by step.
Pond Studio in 3D, and satellite photos
PondTools
Pick your yard from satellite imagery and trace the pond on it at true scale.
Pond Studio shows the pond in 3D with water, stone and planting styles, and saves a picture of the view.
Draw circles, squares and rectangles to an exact size, and add overlapping shapes to a layer.
Place benches, stepping stones, rocks and plants around the pond, with undo and redo.
August 2026
PondTools: measure a pond from a photo
PondTools
Trace a pond's outline on a photo, set the scale and the depth of each shelf, and PondTools works out the gallons.
Calculators for liner size, pump turnover and head loss, salt, stocking, ammonia, water changes, aeration and de-icers fill themselves in from the traced pond.
Print a report of the pond, or download its outline as a to-scale drawing.
